In my daughters school there is going to be a paint an egg competition. A good mother as I am I rushed out today to buy eggs so she had something to paint on. To my surprise I could not find white eggs8| Where are all the white eggs:??: We have brown eggs in Norway too, but we also have white. I asked a Tesco man who happened to be from Ghana. He said that in Ghana they also had both, a woman overhearing our conversation was of the opinion that people prefered brown eggs because they thought they were healthier. I suppose you have brown bread vs white bread, brown rice vs white rice, brown pasta vs white pasta, but brown eggs vs white eggs?? What should the children paint on, and perhaps more importantly what has happened to the hen type who lay white eggs, or their eggs?
