Yes where are all the white eggs in uk gone ? Thats a very good point,,i wondered about this over a year ago,,but never really looked into it. I can think of a couple that I found very touching...

My children have a varied and very healthy diet but they are also allowed 'treats' like crisps and chocolate and the occasional lollipop. By denying children these foods, they will eventually find their way to them on their own and hide it from the parents. I have to admit I just fed mine straight porridge oats (no added nothing). I kind of reckoned that he got all the vitamins etc he needed from breastmilk anyway.
I'm a bit of a heathen where vitamins for kids is concerned - I kind of think if they get a balanced diet they'll get the vitamins they need.

schools both past and present to which i have entrusted my son have had a no sugary snacks policy but the one in north devon did allow crisps so he had those one day a week.

You say you like having lunch boxes so the parent has control over what their child eats and then you say you want the school to ban certain foods and take away all this control.
